Also haluški are not Polish and they are not cabbage and egg noddles. They are a kind of dropped noodles, usually made of dough containing potatoes. Known troughout most of the countries of Easter-Central Europe, but not much in Poland. Haluški with cabbage is a flagship Slovak dish.
Wladyslawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09913483404914806567noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-771864733822240047.post-65355329669516092372011-09-30T15:59:34.693-07:002011-09-30T15:59:34.693-07:00Polish Chicken Paprikash - By Carol Zaleski Wright...Polish Chicken Paprikash - By Carol Zaleski Wright ....My review by Noreen Stephenson

Tonight I cooked this recipe. I made it in my new slow cooker timed it for 5 hours on high 4 hrs is probably enough...Husband is 50% Hungarian also. He said he hasn't smelled anything like this dish since his Hungarian Grandmother made it when he 10. You were right Carol...don't spare the Paprika...I added light sour cream 16 oz at the end and served it with Mashed potatoes and peas. Thanks Carol...the last timne I had a dinner this good was when my Hungarian Grandma on Mom's side cooked it. "It's great to go home again"...FYI: Bill I found the recipe so easily on http://oldperthamboy.blogspot.com/search/label/Chicken Thanks my Dear friend Carol Wright..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
